Toddlers cry when I take their toothbrush away?

Explain that toothbrushes are only to be used in the bathroom. You don't say how old they are but if you tell them repeatedly they will eventually understand you. I make it a point to explain everything to my kid. If I tell her no then I explain why. My parents never explained anything to me and usually just said "because I said so." Well that wasn't good enough for me, I had to figure out why on my own and I was a horrible kid. My kid is the complete opposite and I truely believe it's because I tell her WHY.
