Similarities and Differences with the American and French Revolution?

I actually see differences in bloodshed: there's more bloodshed in the French revolution, more execution, & more fight for power. This is all led to different outcomes (I agree on that). In the US a new constitutional republic was born, but in France republic didn't last for long. Then they had the Napoleonic era, another monorchy, another republic, etc.
