Do old women love german Sheppard's, or mastiffs?

my family bought a dog for us about a year ago, and i think its part german sheppard and part mastiff. i just want to know if old women love certain kinds of dogs because every time my grand mother stops by, our dog starts jumping up and starts getting really happy and my grandmother is all like,"Oh hi baby hi darling, hi sweet cakes!" i just cant stand it when she does that, the dog never does that to me or anything, even when my step grandfather stops by, our dog does the same thing but the dog does it more with my grandmother. i also think my grandmother knows i hate it because the one day she was sitting on the couch and the dog was licking her on the lips right next to me, so i got up and walked away in a meaningful manner you know. so do old people have like have this special aura towards dogs to make them attract them?
