Is there a way to inspect heating ducts for holes and loose connections from the register?

I don't have the ability to inspect the duct work - it's in a attic that's not much more than a crawlspace - without tearing the drywall down from my ceiling. Is there a way to inspect the ducts from the register - I'm thinking like a scope attached to a video display. Does anybody know of anything like that?
