New to the dating scene...again, and unsure about my next move.?

This is the clic 'I can't tell' type of deal. I met a guy Friday night, he offered me his number, he stopped by my party Saturday night, I sat with him in his car and we talked for a good hour, had a ton in common, laughed, eye contact, all good signs, we kissed/made out a little bit. We texted the next day, he asked questions about me, told me things about himself...but then stopped texting me randomly, so I texted him later that night saying I'd like to see him again, but still nothing. So I decided to not send anything today just to see what happened, and he did text me this evening saying he got really busy last night/ended up going out, but would like to see me again, too. So I said I looked forward to it and blah blah, but again...I got nothing. I always think too much, and I'm sure that's what I'm doing now, but I really clicked with this guy, and don't want to ruin it by bombarding him with texts/not showing my interest enough because I don't want to be annoying. I don't know, I haven't been on the dating scene in over 6 years and I'm not so sure what my next move should be, so all opinions are welcome and appreciated. :)
