Can i use Dri-Wall adhesive to "Tape and Joint"?

You shouldn't use any type of "adhesive" over the drywall joint. You need to use a drywall compound or a quick setting compound. Plan on using 2 coats, the first one very thin to set your tape. Then a slightly thicker coat to finish. Don't use a heavy layer of compound or you'll be sanding it forever to get it smooth.

Guitar amp volume?

my amp isn't playing the music very loud at all. there is a clean/distortion switch an i HAVE to have it on distortion because you can not hear the guitar worth crap on clean. wth distortion, i have to turn it up to about 5-10 on the volume to hear it pretty good. my cousin and friend have used the amp and it plays real loud for them. i have 2 humbucker pickups, and they have 3 single coils. i dont know if this could have anything with it, but when i plug my guitar cable into my amplifier, the cable is really snug and doest move around. when it plugs into my guitar, it isnt snug, it slides right in, and you can kind of wiggle it around, which creates alot of crackle through amp. i did try to tighten the jack by taking it out, but that didn't do anything. and ofcoarse, there is the hum noise. it is not as bad as it was before i tightened it. it actually healped quite abit. please help. i dont know wether to take it to my local guitar shop or not.

First, basketball began drawing the interest of black kids away from baseball; then, football. There are a lot less vacant lots for ALL kids to play on; I'm white, grew up in a middle cl town, and on the weekends you would walk around town with your' bat and glove and take place in one of the 3, sometimes more-games that were being played in various places around town. That couldn't happen today because there are no more vacant lots left in that town, and kids just no longer do that anyway. Urban areas went all to hell in the late '60s, and the structures located in the cities that used to enable minority kids to engage in and play baseball disintegrated; you need decently kept fields, equipment, and lots of organization(and dedicated adult supervision) for kids to have the proper structure to learn to play baseball; in basketball, just a court,a ball, and a group of guys gets it done. Guess which sport wins out in the urban areas? The pendulum always swings back to some extent though, and I think that in time, you'll see the efforts which are being made today to draw the interest of black kids back into baseball, coupled with changes in society, should result in more black youth playing baseball than now-but you'll never see the same level as participation that you once did. Football and basketball will still have their appeal.

Explain that toothbrushes are only to be used in the bathroom. You don't say how old they are but if you tell them repeatedly they will eventually understand you. I make it a point to explain everything to my kid. If I tell her no then I explain why. My parents never explained anything to me and usually just said "because I said so." Concrete is really not more expensive. Almost all the homes in the hurricane areas like Florida are "block, concrete homes." Concrete homes though often lack the insulation that is required in the colder areas of the USA. Stick built homes that have a good foundation will outlast your lifetime as long as they are free from termites and other such pests. As to drywall, there are contractors that will still do the old style plaster. I am pretty sure that the labor costs here in the USA are cheaper than what you can get in most EU countries.

My advice is EMG active pickups- they will have a stronger signal and generaaly be "hotter" pickups. They cost a bit of a bundle, but from what I've heard and played, are totally worth it. David Gilmour uses them for a point of reference. If I had the dough, I'd definitely get them myself. As for pickup configuration, I have an Ibanez S470 with HSH and love the tonal range it provides. How can I put a lot of mp3 music onto a CD?

When I burn music or audio using WMP, I can only fit about 80 minutes of music or audio files onto the CD. This music is usually mp3 music or audio I have downloaded from the internet. Yet, recently, I bought a mp3 CD that has approximately 5 hours of music on it. When I saved the contents onto my computer, I saw that WMP lists about 4 separate albums on this one CD. How can I put 5 hours of music onto a CD? Do I need special software? Can I somehow program WMP to do this? Ipod touch not recognized in tunes or on computer?

I just bought a refurbished ipod touch 16gb for my husband for christmas. It was working just fine until yesterday when I uploaded the iphone update for it. Do you ever dream the apocalypse?

I have numerous times. I can't remember the details of all of them only that they were apocalyptic I can remember a lot of the mechanisms of destruction though. Nuclear holocaust, the sky turning red and irradiating everyone for no apparent reason, meteor hitting the earth (get that one a lot), armies marching on the city I live in; you name it I've probably dreamed it happening. The weird thing is I actually kind of like these dreams they're always pretty interesting and not usually a nightmare in fact a lot of the time in these dreams I'm pretty calm and collected even whilst everyone around me is panicking. I don't think this comes from a subconscious will for the destruction of the planet, I hope not anyway. This ever happen to anyone else?

I guess... do a lot of cardio and eat little to no sugar or saturated fat. Try to convert to a vegetarian diet; eat a lot of tofu because it is high in protein which might help to prevent muscle loss (which is probably inevitable anyways) but you might lose 10 pounds. You will probably be close to it. Don't eat past 5 pm either. Screw the not eating fish part of most vegetarian diets though. You should eat a lot of fish. And exercise in the morning before eating but as a warning again your body may tap into your muscles to provide energy which is counterproductive. Uhhh... that's all I have for you, I think. Oh wait, drink a lot of water. It'll look like you gained a lot of weight at the beginning but it flushes your system. Wait again! I did this thing in health magazine where you eat for 5 days a breakfast consisting of 2 tablespoons of vanilla fat free yogurt, 2 tablespoons of crushed post whole wheat cereal (no icing on top), a small amount of walnuts, a tablespoon of lemon juice, and i don't remember exactly how much honey, I think half a tablespoon. It sounds disgusting but it is actually delicious and I lost 3 pounds in 5 days from it. Pretty impressive for just changing your breakfast regiman alone! So maybe try that. OK, now I'm done for real.

How do I keep a long haired rabbit clean?

I have a lionhead rabbit who is gorgeous. She is cleaned out every three days at the moment. For some reason she rarely cleans herself, particularly her feet and face and they are constantly dirty. my basement is about 600 sq feet. It has drywall on one wall, another wall (inside wall) has studs but no insallation. the two largest walls have insallation but no studs on them. i had two dreams now, of me eating meat. i have no desire to eat meat i didn't even like it that much right before i started. i have been a vegetarian since may of '08 and i have not eaten meat or wanted to at all. the first dream i had was that i was with my aunt and we ordered pizza and i had a slice of pepperoni. and i was like freaking out because it was meat but she didn't notice so i just put it down and kept on talking with her. the second one i was at my friend's house and we were eating pasta and i put meat in mine and ate it but my friend didn't notice either. i remember the taste of the meatball was like a potato veggie burger only juicier. i kept on eating it even though i knew it was meat. and the first dream happenened about a week after i went to my aunt's house and we ordered pizza. and the second happened a few days after i went to my friend's house and had pasta. there were meat but i didn't put them in my pasta obviously. A dog for my grandpa...?

This has to be your grandfather's decision. This is one thing that you can't do for him. I am sure being in his seventies he has aches and pains and slow moving. What about the days when he is ill, how will he be able to take this dog outside to go potty, clean up its messes. Who will train the dog. I know that you mean well by wanting to getting him a dog. It just seems like it might be more stressful for him caring for a dog. How do I beat my friend in Madden?

He usually chooses the Cowboys but no matter who he chooses he beats me. I play as the Colts, Packers, Eagles or Vikings the majority of the time. And on his offense, no matter what defensive plays I use he always finds a way to get through, if I choose single man, two man, three man, four man, blitz, goal line! He almost always gets through. His offensive plays always vary as mine do. When he plays offense he has plenty of time to get the ball out and even if it is a far p, somehow they will manage to jump up and catch it. Mine almost never can catch far pes, let alone short. When I play offense I'll always switch up the plays, I do any type of p and my players can barely get open because he always has excellent coverage on my receivers and at the same time he has my quarterback rushing to get the p off because he always has someone after him, along with the excellent coverage. I run it after ping, he gets me stopped short. I do a screen p, he stops me short. No matter what I do he gets me, he always finds a way. It's like he is reading my mind (We play on Xbox Live, he isn't at my house). I can beat some of my friends and me and him always had close scores about two weeks ago, I beat him twice.
