Anyone like death metal just for the music?

I love mortician, cannibal corpse, not for their lyrics, but for their music. I put them on my Mp3 player when I'm at work, jogging, or if I need to think. I don't care about the lyrics. I think the cookie monster vocals as just being another intsrument. death is so much more intense than other kinds of metal. I don't fit in with other "metalheads" at all, but I love the music. does anyone else think death metal is great music, and listening to it doesn't mean you have to follow a certain lifestyle (i.e. drugs, fighting, criminal records, satanism/atheism, or wearing black clothes all the time to try and intimidate people)?
