Can atheism bring peace to the world?

If so how? Do you think that having no religion or the belief of God or gods will bring peace to the world, or at least make things better? Is that the big answer for the solution of world peace? Can atheism maintain this world peace? So if world peace is solved or improved by atheism; society will have conflict again. What will be the reason why world peace would be in jeopardy again? Considering that atheism is confident that most of the world problems are caused by the belief in God, god, and religion, how would atheism contend with the challenges to world peace?
