If atheists accept eyewitness testimony concerning any other person of history, doesn’t logic demand they must?

One problem with that is that the eyewitness testimony that corroborates history (people, events, etc.) sounds basically like people and events we can see happening around us. Outside of religion, no historical accounts talk about anyone coming back from the dead, and I've never seen anything remotely like that with my own eyes.
