Is this a mean glare or an anxious reaction?

I don't know why but, sometimes - When I'm trying too hard to look caring or attentive, I have this facial expression in my eyes that looks aggressive! (I'm not angry, but my eyes tell people this.) It's confusing; am I trying too hard?
