What do you think about the boy who had his family killed and his dad forgave him?

Bart Whitaker.....from texas. He had his mother, and brother killed and his father survived the attack. His father wrote a book about their life and donated the money to charity. He is a devoted Christian. Do you think he is doing the right thing forgiving his son who is sitting on death row?
