What Is The Best Pickup(s) For Me?

My advice is EMG active pickups- they will have a stronger signal and generaaly be "hotter" pickups. They cost a bit of a bundle, but from what I've heard and played, are totally worth it. David Gilmour uses them for a point of reference. If I had the dough, I'd definitely get them myself. As for pickup configuration, I have an Ibanez S470 with HSH and love the tonal range it provides.
